A couple Qs
First off, does anyone know how to remove the choke cable that goes through the cluster panel?
Second does the rear view supposed to attach between the visors? I dont have any holes there. |

Re: A couple Qs
Don't know which year your referring to, but the mirrio on my 71 attaches to the roof via one screw on a raised area.
Sorry no pics but the cam went on a trip. Can't say about the choke. Jerry |

Re: A couple Qs
Regarding your choke cable- it's swedged onto the rod that goes through the gauge panel, so if you want to save it, you'll have to disconnect it from the choke plate on the carb, remove all the hold-downs and guides and pull the whole thing out as one unit.

Re: A couple Qs
I bought the later style rear view mirror that mounts to the windshield, that way I didn't have to drill a hole(s) in the cab.

Re: A couple Qs
IIRC your choke is bolted to the metal dash under the plastic bezel. to remove it, you'll need to remove the bezel. Then remove the whole unit.

Re: A couple Qs
I just cut the stem behind the pull and got rid of it since I needed to move the wiper switch to that loacation for the new bezel.
