Brake booster problems
I put a 71 on a 79 frame and was going to use the 79 booster. I hooked it up but the brake pedal won't release from the floor. Even with my hand I can't get it to come up. Is it a pressure deal or is the arm to short or what? Sorry for the newby question.

Re: Brake booster problems
if you cant pull the brake pedal up by hand i'd think theres a problem with the mouting of the booster and binding of the push rod
i'd start by loosening the booster on the firewall to see if you can then move the pedal

Re: Brake booster problems
If you have the master cylinder bolted to the booster unbolt it, see if you can move the pedal. If not Like CDOWNS said loosen the booster mounting bolts, and shake the boolster to see if the pedal moves.
