Re: Any one else got an all 67-72 chevy family?
Not any more.I did several years ago.I ran my construction business out of a few K/20s(70s & 71s) and a C/30(70),ran around in a Blazer(71),my wife drove a Custom Deluxe/10 Suburban(71),and we had a Custom Camper/20(71) with a slide-in for our RV.
We had two other vehicles that cluttered up the picture.a`63 Riviera and a Suzuki Samurai. Both of those were for my wife.I got her the new`Zuki to run down to nursing school and just to have a gas miser. The Rivvy I had given her instead of an engagement ring.I`m practical like that .Life was good. All three of her vehicles were blue, too.I ended up driving the Riviera more and I had hoped to turn the Suzuki into a trail rig once it`s usefulness was done. But,I was in heaven having a full fleet of 67-72s.I also built a pro-street`70 Stepside during that time.I gave my dad a`68 Custom/20 for chores and that`s as far it went with my family. That`s cool that they spread around your family like that.in a perfect world....

Re: Any one else got an all 67-72 chevy family?
Nobody in my family..... but I have enough to cover them:
1967 short fleet project RetroRod 1968 short fleet Beater (currently disassembled & in storage) 1964 short fleet project Stella (finishing up the chassis now) 1979 Malibu 2dr w/3 pedals 2002 Collectors Edition Trans Am..... Last of the T/A's (literally; they were the final 2000 T/A's built). And last but not least, my everyday driver/tow truck..... my 74 short fleet.

Re: Any one else got an all 67-72 chevy family?
I wish I had someone in the family into these trucks. My 17 yr old says he doesn't want my 72 super after I told him that sometimes you have to replace a gasket to keep it from leaking in these old trucks. Hes a brainiac anyway and I'm proud of him no matter what. This is why my screename is the lone rife.

Re: Any one else got an all 67-72 chevy family?
My dad started the 67-72 addiction cycle, he bought a new 71 but got rid of it back in 76 the year I was born, he never bought another one after that, but I grew up and bought myself a 68 about 8-9 years ago, then I got my older brother to buy himself a nice looking 68 gmc, my sisters dont underestand why now all I drive is yunk old trucks.. I was all into luxurious cars back then (not anymore) Heres a cool pic of my family rides and one of myself on my 68 with my bros 68 gmc tagging along.

Re: Any one else got an all 67-72 chevy family?
I have a 2002 HD with the 6.6 Duramax diesel & Allision 5 speed auto. This is my daily driver that I reworked (New airbox, reworked ECM & 4" exhaust) for gas mileage) while in AZ last winter. I have my 67 that I'm reworking & I have a 1999 Chevy venture van. These I bought because i retired from GM & figure I should buy the products that pays my retirement check. Howard

Re: Any one else got an all 67-72 chevy family?
Well, my dad had a 1970 1/2 ton GMC back in the mid 70's. Since then he's always had GMC trucks, owned about 10-12 i suppose. Right now he's driving a 2007 crew cab short box with the 6.0 litre gas. This truck is a great truck. We work it really hard pulling 14k pound loads with our goose-neck trailer. I owned a 97 Z71 for a while. Now I own a 1972 Cheyenne Super K20 lwb. Needs to be restored. But mechanically is in great shape. My brother owns a 1952 Chevy 5 window truck that he's had since he was in high school. We still use it around the farm. It's been so reliable. Can't beat these trucks. I'd say we're stuck on GM rigs.
