Any 2wd lifts out there?

It seems I read about drops all the time and parts for them are easy to find. I've been looking around the web lately for a few inches fo rmy 2wd 3/4 ton.

Has anyone tried it or come across any lifts in their travels around the web?

Re: Any 2wd lifts out there?

I checked fabtech. They only do newer trucks. I have a cross menber, spindles and upper and lower control arms off a 78 that I was going to use to convert to discs but before I did the deed I wanted to check my options and fix as many of my issues at one time. I haven't even seen much for that era truck. Apparently I need an 88-up.

I haven't seen the taller front coils. I have a leafspring rear end so that end is not an issue.

I was hoping for something that may give me a bit more articulation. This thing doesn't flex at all and I can get one tire off the ground pretty easily. It's always in the rear and I'm stuck. Maybe I should get a xfer case and an axle and make it a K20.

You might do a search on pre-runner sites. That's a 2 wd off roader. They should be able to give you some ideas.

Re: Any 2wd lifts out there?

1 ton springs would lift the front a few inches higher
