what ece tank to use?

as the title suggests I have no clue as to what tank I would need to get. I know I want to run the filler out of the rear stake pocket so what tank would I need, the carb side fill or? I will be running a 454 with a carburetor in a 4x4 so tank size is another thought, I dont want it hanging low but dont wanna run out of fuel on a trip. any thought are greatly appreciated

Re: what ece tank to use?

I would run the fuel cell offered by them, the same one that was used in the copperhead build. Not to bash ECE (cause I love them there, awesome customer service and all in all just great people) but there are a few guys on here that can make you a tank for a little cheaper, and will do just as good. And as far as the fill neck, mine comes out in the bed of my truck.

Re: what ece tank to use?

well the tank isnt a necessity right now Im just doing some research into aftermarket tanks and what type I would need. I have seen a couple vendors on here that do really good quality work for almost half the price of ece. Im still in wonders of all these filler types, all I know is it will be filled through the side signal marker or the rear stake pocket. What ever I decide
