new to the forum
New to the forum
I recently bought a 72 K20, 350 with a 4 speed, Im looking badge it as a Cheyenne with a wood bed and 2 tone blue and white paint. the truck is a plain low end stock truck. any input and pointers that i will need to do will help me greatly. |

Is this a body off deal, or a drive it as you fix it up deal? If possible I would do your restoration in stages; so often these things get torn into pieces and never put back together again. Get the mechanical all figured out and working right. Get the interior how you want it. And repair the outside a panel at a time until it's ready for paint.

Im going to get it running and drive it as it is. However i have a separate cab and bed that Im going to have the body work done too. the cab and bed thats on it it to much for me to repair compared to the cost of a good used cab.
