1971 Blazer 2wd (keeper)

With a little prompting from another board member (PHAT TONY) I decided I had better introduce my newest addition. I have been looking for a 2wd blazer for some time now and just happened to run across one listed on here that belonged to another board member. I plan on driving this thing just the way it is for the summer and then I will tear it down and paint it next winter. Anyhow here are a couple of pics the day I purchased it. My youngest son is pretty stoked about this one.

Re: 1971 Blazer 2wd (keeper)

Thanks for the compliments guys! I sold a 70 Blazer a few years back and after it was gone I really regreted it. These things are just too cool to run around in. As soon as the weather is nice out here I'm going to peel the roof off and leave it off. And YBNORMAL if you guys are down this way make sure you stop in for a visit or maybe we could meet up at a show or something this summer (Super run hint hint).

I may even consider coming down on a thursday evening. It would be nice to see some different rides for a change. The local cruise nights get a little boring after a while.

If I ever get my hands on 2wd blazer that's exactly how I want the colors. Flat black with a white top it just looks so good!

Thanks! yeah I will try to leave it alone untill I gather all the parts for it so it should stay flat black for a while. It gets a ton of looks the way it is and is a blast to drive. Love this thing!!!

Re: 1971 Blazer 2wd (keeper)

Here are a couple of pics of the burb. I've had this burb for about ten years now and finally was able to find the time to paint it last year. Its getting accuair within the next couple of weeks and cant wait.

Re: 1971 Blazer 2wd (keeper)

It sure is a great lookin burb! If I didn't get my air management from my bro for free, it would have defintely been accuair. Trying to find room for the valves and all those fittings isn't that fun...

Re: 1971 Blazer 2wd (keeper)

I built a huge box in the back of my burb for my current setup and I think the accuair will just clean everything up back there and look nice. Oh and it works pretty slick too!!! lol

Haha! I know the box thing VERY well! I built one for my blazer too, but hated how much room it took up so I ditched it...the sad part was I had a lot of time invested in it.

I totally agree. I had a 70 blazer about 5 years ago and regretted selling it.
