Need help with tv cable 700r4

During my motor swap i think the end of my tv cable got messed up it doesn't seem to stay in place like it should. The black connecting piece at the end of the cable in the picture is what i'm talking about. Does anyone know where i can get a replacement/how to change that clip or do i need a whole new cable?

The black plastic part that clips on the throttle crank just has a hole in the middle for the cable to pass through. It should slide freely along the exposed part of the cable. The crimp at the end of the cable is what it butts to when it pulls the cable to move the valve.

Unless you are handy at fabricating some kind of clip or something to hold it on you will need to replace the cable.

Your local parts store can get you a new cable. Yo will spend less time replacing it than trying to fix to bad one.
