Project 78 High Sierra
Well I decided to finally start my build thread even though I have just been working on the floor panels for over a month(http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...=496904)...Now that they are done I can start working on the truck as a whole even though I will probably focus on the interior of the cab first...I do still need to remove the bed a put new cab corners on...Here is a list of several things....
O and Ive never done much mechanic work so this is also a nice learning experience lol 1. Fish Speedo Cable Gear out of transmission 2. Fender Repair or new Fenders 3. Repair hood holes 4. Lots of sanding. 5. Remove and Replace trim 6. Rear patches over wheels 7. Get front and rear bumpers powder coated 8. Adjust suspension (looks rusted ) 9. Battery Tray 10. Windshield Washing Cap replacement 11. New Inner Wheel Wells 12: Repair Dash Pad 13: Replace Carpet 12: Re-apolster Headliner 13: Add front speakers and fix ghetto rear speaker setup 14. Replace or weld in replacement for piece that hold front of passenger wheel well 15..Primer 16. Paint 17. Remove side exhaust and run straight back 18: New Mufflers & hangers 19. Power Coat Rims 20. Clean engine rust and bay 21: New door pins 22. Lots more Pics:

Re: Project 78 High Sierra
Found a dash pad at the local Pull a Part with small cracks....Sanded, Prepped, and Painted...
Also found out that my windshield leaks...Its cracked so Im prob gonna have it replaced... I was quoted $210 to replace with all seals etc...Is that a good price? Or should I look around? I do have the windshield antenna

Re: Project 78 High Sierra
$210 is a good price to let a shop do the windshield install. I think I have more than that in mine and I did it by myself.

Re: Project 78 High Sierra
Picked up a driver side fender and a rearview mirror this weekend, then finished painting the drivers side door panel and removed everything from the interior and coated it with Dupli Color Bed Armour

Re: Project 78 High Sierra
Does that duplicolor work good? I bought that $100 kit they sell at AutoZone and was thinking about putting in the bed. Did you just scuff up the area and roll it on? It looks great so im hoping mine turns out this good.
