Re: Top to body weatherstrip
I've said it before, but I seriously doubt there are many different manufactures of Blazer specific weatherstripping if there is even more than one. There were less than 80,000 Blazers manufactured between 69 & 72. If you factor in how many have met their demise, tops removed, or already running new weatherstripping and there isn't much market left. If there is more than two manufactures, I'd be surprised.
That said, I purchased a full set of top weatherstripping from LMC. It all fit ok, but the door seals that contained metal from the factory did not have the metal. I had no problems with the bed-to-top strips.

Re: Top to body weatherstrip
I used the 3M Super Adhesive, the black stuff.
But first I wiped the inside with alcohol to remove dirt/oil.....because when I didn't do that it wouldn't stick at all.

Re: Top to body weatherstrip
I tried contact cement, but it didn't hold long. While the top was hanging in the garage last summer, the header seal fell off. I used the 3M adhesive remover to get all the old stuff off first.

Re: Top to body weatherstrip
I've used 3m black and yellow weatherstrip adhesive, and the yellow is best in my opinion.

Re: Top to body weatherstrip
Well I'm a tightwad so I just went to Lowes & got some weatherstripping. Kind of like this pic in that it had little ribs like this, but it was about twice that thick & black. Worked good! Has sticky on one side already, but I added a little yellow 3M, or "gorilla snot" as my daddy called it, for a little extra.
