leaf spring perches

has anyone here used an off road (longer) leaf spring perch. I have rear leafs on my 69 2wd. do the longer perches reduce axle wrap? any help would be great . thank you in advance

let me rephrase my question. I'm putting new perches on , would it be any help with traction if I used a longer perch?
