Show us your seats

Show us your seat ...Im wondering what seats you guys have used that fits these trucks. I would like a 60/40 or something with a foldaway center, possibly with seat belts built in? any pics or info would be great. thanks

Although I am a "stocker" guy, I really like the looks of this set-up. Please keep us posted on your project.

Re: Seats ???

That's right--you wish you had a sweet seat like this.

Best to use some kind of pad so the springs don't jab you in the kazoo.

I'm not too far away from getting them mounted. I'm still working on getting my impala dash in. I'll let you know when the seats are mounted.

I like the stock look as well, the only reason I'm going with these is because of the seat belts are built in.

Alan, I'm using the same seats in my truck. Have you come up with any good ideas on how to mount them yet? In order to have room to flip up the arm rest, the front mounts stick out beyond the hump in the floor. Just curious. Thanks.

Just do a search of my build and you will find it there. I just kept moving and mocking up til I got them where I wanted them then made them work. The left and right seats are on 1.5" blocks and the center mounts were cut and turned to the inside so i could mount them to the hump and make it even with the other two. I'm 5' 10" so this setup would work with just anyone. However the adjust up and down some.

With the upholstery stitching, material, and pattern, I think you did a great job making high back buckets look 'period correct'.
