1972 C/50 Pickup
Found this monster on Ebay..have seen these done several different ways but think this is one of the best I've seen. Someone took the time to make the rear fenders match the front..almost looks factory.

Re: 1972 C/50 Pickup
Found a picture of one very similar last fall. In fact I thought it might even be the same truck with a repaint. Rear cutout style fender flares with screw pockets match. But the front marker lamps and the 5 lug vs 10 lugs seem to be the real differences.

That Red one was done by member Dino's63 here on the board. He's from Az and had it shipped to Ca and sold in some auction if I remember correctly. That green one is really nice too!

Re: 1972 C/50 Pickup
I have been looking for the right one to build and I have been stockpileing parts. I have some 19.5 wheels with new tires and chrome simulatores, a 454 with t400 [33k] and it came out of a p30 chassis and it has dick brakes to put on it as well. I also have a exrta set of fenders and a really nice fleet bed. The fenders I had thought about cutting out the flare and swapping sides with them and them putting the running boards back on making them full length. Also gonna add a tilt and hydro boost power brakes. I found a 70 model that has been in the barn since 70 up until the last 4 months and the insides look really good .It is a 350 with 2 speed rear and only 24,344 miles! the only drawback is the color. I plan to post up once it is home and put in line at the body shop. Oh, by the way I had a 64 model C60 given to me by my bro in law it is a 29,000 mile bob truck and all of the lights still workas does the tilt bed. The only proplem besides being the wrong year is the front has some damage and the radio doesn't play. I will use it to haul off scrap metal from the wreck teardowns

Re: 1972 C/50 Pickup
That green one has some fine details. Woodland Green is spot on for a timeless classic truck color. How 'bout those turn signal lenses?
