Your Blazer is stolen!

What are you going to do first, And what will you miss the most about your first generation Blazer?

I agree, Dog the bounty hunter kicks a$$.

He is the man.

Now lets hope we don't have to resort to those measures.

First? Cry because it does not have full coverage and the ratio of "drive time vs. sweat equity expended" is very low right now.

What would I miss? Having everyone I know scratching their heads when they see me rolling up in it. No one understands...

Alright 69towrig Thats what I'm Talking About. This thread was intended to invoke the passion of a blazer owner. I was Imagining what it would feel like to awake one day to find out you no longer were able to see, Touch and drive your Pride and joy's. I would miss the top down and the wind in my hair with the sound and feel of my 350 V8 Snapping my neck back. I tell family and Friends all the time that even if you had the cash and the desire to buy an early blazer "Good Luck" Finding one for sale.

Someone attempted to take my '72 a few months back. I still wake up at the slightest sound outside!

I would take the insurance money and go buy another one. If it means that much to you, insure it.

Re: Your Blazer is stolen!

Money does not heal all wounds. I've never had one stolen, but I've sold a lot of em and I cannot ever seem to replace them no matter how hard I try. I insure everything I own (and it is a small used car lot outside my house), but I think he's going down the road of how much you have put of yourself into it and how would you feel? I am never amazed at how some decide when something is dumb and write these threads off. If you don't like it, skip it and don't reply, at least thats what I am told when I defend a truck or blazer from ebay that is being torn to shreds, but it's a free word and we can badmouth whoever we want, right?!

Lo-jack "early warning" you buy it once and that's it, guy comes out picks a nice hiding place for it, i believe it uses your charging system to charge its own battery so the thief cant just unplug the battery. If your truck/car moves more than 20 feet without your key chain thing lo-jack calls you to ask if you car is suppose to be moving, if not then you call the police and they'll activate your system.
I don't remember the cost of it, but it wasn't ridiculous considering they usually get a vehicle back in a few hours

I don't remember the states lo-jack is used, it's used in Arizona and that's all needed.
