Well I've been sanding on the ol girl to get it painted before the local car show on August 16-17th. So today I was able to finally get her painted. I still want to paint the very top of the cab and the wheels the same cast iron color as interior and the GMC letters on the tailgate. But for now here's a few pics for ya.

when it comes to phone pics, i take a pic and the make sure the pic is how i want it to look and then take another screen shot the upload the new pic. sounds like a lot, but really isnt...

i have simiular paint, matte black. from eastwood hotrod matte. no pics cuz i havent shot it yet, just hoping my bodywork is spot on so paint will lay smooth...

John Deere Blitz Black. With normal enamel reducer. I talked to markb a few time to see how he shot it on his. I think for shooting mine in my garage it turn out great and pretty smooth.

Thanks. And beleive it or not it didnt get much dirt in it either. With any flat or satin color if it gets dirt in the paint ur stuck with it or reshoot. There is no polishing.

Thanks! Our car show is in a few weeks and i was trying to get it done for that. I never win the trophies but i always get a lot of looks and thumbs up.
