Where does this wire go ?
It comes from the harness along with the ignition wires. Kind of a brown/ grey color.

heat lever assembly light, goes behind that little glass peice that says def, heat, air fan on it... i can try to get pics of mine tomarow if youd like

I am confused ( as normal ). I have a wire and bulb to the area you describe already.

No. 18 gauge tan goes to the brake warning switch and the brake warning light on the dash (but the light should be in the bundle connector to the back of the dash). There is another tan wire from the ignition switch that goes to the outside aux. fuel tank.

Is the wire hot. If so it might be the cigarette lighter pwr wire.

it might be the wire for the fan motor switch, on the back of your heater controls you have one lever that when pushed to one side turns the fan motor on, and also has a cable running down to the firewall that opens the flap enabling the blower motor to vent the cab
