Thanks for the condolences - sniff, sniff...
How about sharing the story on the shipping with us who are still looking for a center section. How was it packaged, what shipper was used, weight, any tips? Enquiring minds want to know. |

Re: Eaton 4.10 center section AZ $20
Shipping from Meza AZ to Alhambra CA - $60 via DHL ground
Weight - 108lbs total Here is a pic of the packaging. Milk crate w/t box formed around it and unit is then secured to the milk crate with tie wraps - these broke so maybe use chicken wire but it arrived to me without issue. I found the packaging method on this board. Also here is a thread I started that lead me to this find. Will be posting more to it by Wednsday. Check it out: 'Eaton H052 - Drop Out Pumpkin Swap?'

Re: Eaton 4.10 center section AZ $20
Those were some heavy duty tie wraps, next time baling wire should do it. I'm glad it didn't break out of the crate. DHL was the only one who would ship something that heavy to a residence.
I may have another one of these soon, probably won't be $20 though.

Re: Eaton 4.10 center section AZ $20
that is exactly how I ship them, shipped 2 or 3 now. I used the big fat zip ties, like 5 or 6 of them, and they never popped.
