Stock exhaust system
Looking for a complete STOCK single exhaust system to put on a my 66 Burb with 327. Would like aluminized pipes and complete with all hangers etc.
Any ideas who sells a top quality system? FLOWMASTER system that was put on my burb, sounds great but on long trips I would like to be able to hear my radio playing. Jim |

Re: Stock exhaust system
I have one that I just took off of my suburban. Only problem is that it's 51 years old! But seriously, if you were closer you could take it to a muffler so and have it copied.

Re: Stock exhaust system
I would have your local exhaust shop make it. its basically a Y pipe like below, over to the driver's side. then straight back, up over the rear axle and back down, then a 90 degree bend out behind the rear tire. Simple simple.

Re: Stock exhaust system
Walker muffler has all the exhaust system pipes for the truck. They have schematic showing complete layout with pics of parts and part numbers.

Re: Stock exhaust system
Check out heartthrobexhaust.com. They make all the exhaust systems for J.C. Whitney. I ordered a dual exhaust system with side exit behind rear wheels, for a 65 Suburban. Chose the stock style mufflers, everything bolted up and fit like advertised. I modified it some to fit up tighter to the frame, I didn't need to, but wanted to. Drives nice and quiet on the highway, sounds good at an idle. Total was $365. to my door.
