Late model light question
I have a 2011 GMC, that I want to upgrade the back up lights to a LED bulb. However, the Putco bulbs that I am presently using do not give off as much light as I would like, to do any real good. Is there anyone that has installed a set of bulbs that might be the answer to getting more light from the back up lights?

Re: Late model light question
Are you trying to have more light to assist you while backing up? If so, there are other options rather than trying to upgrade the bulbs in the tail lens.
You could buy some lights like PIAA or KC lights and mount them under the rear bumper. Or this is an option that I found that I thought was pretty nice. http://www.whitenight.com/GMC_ChevyP...2007to2010.htm I have also here that the PIAA LED lights put off some good light.

Re: Late model light question
Sure I could, BUT that would not go along with the lowered smooth affect that I already have with the truck.
