kind of an odd question

I posted an add on craigs list to get rid of a 250I6 and a th400(as well as here) and I just had a guy ask if the th400 was a long or short shaft.

As far as I know th400's only had one tail shaft length,,,,,,

I know the th350 had three tailshafts,,,,4wd,6" aka short and the 9" aka long

Anyone know if the th400's had different length tail shafts?
