'61 hood CL (not mine)
I was under the impression these were somewhat hard to find although I've never looked for one. Do I need to go buy this?

Re: '61 hood CL (not mine)
if all he wants is $20, it would not be a bad idea to have it sitting around. BTW it is a 60 hood , not a 61...

Re: '61 hood CL (not mine)
I thought it might be a 60. I will go tomorrow, hopefully its still there. He has another ad with several tailgates for $20 each, I saw one sqaurebody and one 67-72. I might pick those up also if they are decent.

Re: '61 hood CL (not mine)
So here it his. Has three small spots of rust, one in the middle between the light, one in the rear corner (I think left), and one on the opposite side. Other than that it's pretty solid. Well worth the trip I think:

Re: '61 hood CL (not mine)
Like most others I'm sure, I always like to see "what else" there might be when I go on these parts runs. I did pick up this 67-72 tailgate.
It will probably just be shop art. Other than that he was pretty well cleaned out. He did have these three Ford COE's, which even though not my thing were pretty cool. Said he had sold all three to someone in Texas and was waiting for pickup: |
