as many of you may have read, I lost a tire yesterday and screwed up my front axle. I need to replace the backing plate, all the pad hardware, and it looks like I puled a seal off the wheel cylinder. Do I need to replace cylinder, or is this just a dust boot that can be snapped back on?

Also, if I have to replace it, can I get away with only bleeding this one wheel, or do I need to bleed all four corners?

you can put the boot back on but io'd go ahead and replace it will its all apart you can bleed only one but i'd bleed them all for safey

Take your finger and push the piston back into the cylinder and pop the boot right back on. You can open the bleeder screw and gravity bleed it for a minute or two to assure no air is in that wheel cylinder if you want to.
