60's Chevy Impala mirrors on a c10?

Have any of you here seen or had ever used side mirrors from some 62-67 Chevy Impala's or Novas? I have the small after market type on my 74 C10 that really cant be adjusted to see properly and constantly have to look over each shoulder every time I change lanes, which I know you should do any ways. But when I wanna look in my mirror to see on either side with out looking over my shoulder, the angle is not there due to the type of mirror I have. I really like the look of the rounded side mirrors on the 65 Impala's and I see them with the Chevy bow tie on them for $40 on up.

Have any of you used or seen them on a C10 before? I think they would look cool. Heres the type I wanna get in the pic. Also if you scroll down the link for the guy that found his dads old 65 is there and if u watch the clip, at the end when he goes to drive it, you will see him adjust his drivers side mirror, at the 4:27 mark, thats the one i wanna put on my C10.

Re: 60's Chevy Impala mirrors on a c10?

I had to sell my 1965 Impala SS about 10 years ago due to having our daughter and needing new windows for the house we just bought. It hurt to see it driving away and I haven't seen it since. The guy who bought it said he was going to take it to all the local car shows but I have never sen it ..... I still have the guy's name and number but for some reason I'm afraid to call him about it. Maybe this video will spur me on to contact him.

As far as the side mirrors go,......... I've thought the same thing several times since I liked the look of the ones on my 65. Anybody use them on their trucks? Lets see them.

LMC has a round repop mirror with the bowtie like that. I think they were about 40 bucks a pop. I think it would look cool but prob not any better to see out of then the truck sport mirrors.

They will definitely be much better to see with. My dad had a 65 when I was growing up and they were fine to use. The ones I got on are almost stationary, but these, as you see in the you tube clip, can be rotated around alot to make the angle you need viewable. I will get these when I get a chance and post them up once they are mounted.

I've used the bowtie car mirrors on a lot of 67-72 trucks. I think they're a nice touch on Chevys

I think round mirrors look funny on a square... they look out of place to me... but then again what the hell do I know I don't have any side mirrors.. so maybe I don't get a vote... lol..

Iam debating on using the smaller mirrors also but as you I feel the squares will fit my square better.

I also like the looks of this square mirror as well. Either one will give a good look i think. The square one is growing more on me now..
