I am stealing this idea.
Ohio Dan posted this info that cstanly posted. So I went to Pepboys and bought a cup holder. I will have to take the seat out to install it. I will show the results when it is done. May be a will because I fractured my toe fertilizing the yard.

Re: I am stealing this idea.
^^^^^^ That's funny right there.
So how does this cup holder deal work. I understand that it usually just wedges in between the seat and center console, but how are you gonna use it?

Re: I am stealing this idea.
I think they're screwing it to the front of the seat? Can you take pics of how you fasten it and what's involved, been trying to find something better than one stuck through the slots in the dash where the dash pad was

Re: I am stealing this idea.
First The cup holder: You can go to member list.
Click on The letter O. Find Ohio Dan Click his post that says. cup holder idea's needed Find his post. Then click on the link. The cup holder will bolt to the bottom of the seat by a bracket. This should not take me over 4 weeks to do. I am old. Will post pictures if I ever get er done. Second thing. I was just walking, and fertilizing the yard and fractured my toe in my foot. Where else would my toe be? Could it be, because I am 64 years old. Last edited by grs; 04-16-2010 at 04:12 PM. |

I think this toe incident may be more interesting than the cup holder....

Re: I am stealing this idea.
I made a type O. I meant the toe in my foot. Not my food. I guess I put my foot in my mouth.

Re: I am stealing this idea.
Perhaps the food his foot was in was "toe jam"?

Re: I am stealing this idea.
Please don't blame me because you fractured your food when you had your fertilizer toe in your mouth, while thinking about a cup holder. All I did was post a link to a cup holder idea that cstanley installed in his truck. What was the original question?LOL I just hope you were able to use the info supplied?
Here's one somebody on the board installed in their truck. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=208408

Re: I am stealing this idea.
Thanks, Ohio Dan. Your post helped me a lot. I will get the cup holder in as soon as I can. I will not let anyone know when my toe is healed. I am happy you all had a good laugh at me.

Re: I am stealing this idea.
This is turning in to a great thread and it has nothing to do with the cup holder...
