Belltech Drop Spindles have surface rust... PROBLEMS?

I know of some Belltech Drop Spindles for sale about an hour away from me. The guy said they have surface rust from sitting but are new. Anybody see any problems I might run into if I buy them and clean them up?

No,you wont have nay problems.I have a set sitting in my shed off of my s-dime that have surface rust on them.It's the nature of the metals used

No problem just clean them up and spray paint them and install them....

nope i sold i set i had on my s10 to a friend of mine..they were all rusty from never being painted.. and as far as i know they are still rusty and still on his truck..

i think they will be fine

soak them for a few days in a bucket of vinegar//they'll come out like new
