Here's my mildly bagged suburban. It was bagged about 10 years ago before all this fancy stuff now. 96 injected LT1, 700R4, 4 wheel disc brakes.

Hey, thanks man! That means a lot with the caliber of trucks on this site.

Malibob, I remember seeing your old truck at the Blue Suede Cruise. Any plans to take the new one this year or maybe Good Guys Columbus?

Yeah, that was a very fun car show. I will probably end up bringing it to Columbus but may have to bring the Bel Air. The way BSC is scheduled it interferes with something else now so probably wont be able to make that one.

Re: How about some pics of bagged 60-66

I installed a BC Fab stage 1 kit last weekend on my truck - no c-notch (at least for the time being) but 2.5" drop spindles up front.

Great pics so far.
Please add any related specs also.
(Dropmember, Z'd frame, type of bags, type of air management, wheel/tire sizes and backspacing, etc.)

Keep them coming!

Re: How about some pics of bagged 60-66

Here's some info on my truck...

Quality Air ride (formerly *****************) raised crossmember kit in front (w/'73-'87 balljoints in the arms to switch to 5x5" lugs) and Superlift wishbone kit out back
Airlift Dominator 2600 bags
Viar 480 compressor and 5 gallon tank (does the trick but may ad another tankand comp later)
1/2" airline with 3/8" SMC valves (added adjusters to the dump valves to gain a little control on the drop speed)
stock steel wheels from a '92 C/K with 235/75/15 National XT4000 tires
SSBC brake kit in front for a '75
replaced 3/4 ton rear axle with redrilled 70 Chevelle axle
383 SBC and TCI T350

Re: How about some pics of bagged 60-66

Here are a few shots of mine, old and new.

The old one ('65 stepper) had 2.5" drop spindles, '73 control arms, 2600 lb. bags up front and 2500 lb. bags out back, Viair 380c compressor and 5 gal tank, electric switches and 3/8" lines. No notch or any frame modification. Truck had 283, 3 on tree, disc brakes up front, '72 rear end, custom bed, new model re-covered seat, and a ton of minutiae. Well here is that one:

DSC_1466 by Malibob, on Flickr

And the new one has electric switches, 3/8" lines (adding 1/4" lines and manual switches as well), 2600 lb slam specialties bags, 3" Z up front and custom back half and 4 link, 2 Viair 380c's and 2 3 gallon tanks, 5.3 LS-1 (carbbed), 700R4, 15" smoothies with new '52 caps and Coker wide whites (staggered sized tires). Working on replacing the bed with a wood one, cleaning up some interior items and driving the hell out of it- if I dont wrap it around a pole (it is scary fast). Well here are some shots of it:

Thanks man, it is a blast. Scared the shlt out of myself a couple of times in it but that just makes it more fun. Hopefully this snow shlt gets over with pretty quickly.
