69 C/10 Shock Mounts & R.Axle Q's
O.K. ;
The right rear shock mount broke , I was looking at a '68 in the junkyard , looks the same to me but I'm not sure . Also , my rear end makes some noise and this one is cheap an in VGC ~ do all the 6 lug '67 ~ '72 rear ends interchange ? . Or are there different bolt patterns etc. ? . If they're direct swaps , I'll go pop the derby cover and see what ratio it is . TIA ,

IIRC, After a certain time in 1970 the rear ends got slightly wider. Still a bolt in, but no big deal.
you should be fine with it as long as the donor truck has the same rear suspension as yours (coil to coil, leaf to leaf).
