65 LB Full Poterbuilt
New guy here, Picked this up at the Big 3 Swap meet in San Diego, No Rust! Interior clean, Body fair. I threw some air bags on for the Del Mar Good Guys. Now the tear down begins. My goal is to have it 100% done by next years Del Mar Good Guys.
I'm inspired by Delmo's trucks and "Simple Green" Not to mention many others on this site. This is a great site with a lot of good ideas and everyone is willing to help, glad to be a part of it. So I guess I'm kissing ass in case I need some help as this build goes along! LOL. I'm going the Simple Green route. Smooth body, Flat silver, Black roof, Black Wheels. Got some ideas... WISH ME LUCK! THANKS ROB! Here she is....Day 1, 364 to go. |

Welcome from San Diego! Nice find. Sounds like a nice plan and should look nice in that color combo.
If you get a chance, check out our local truck club. Link in sig. Keep the pics coming!

Re: 65 LB Full Poterbuilt
Welcome Rob...
Great truck to start with and your plans sound great. I am flattered that people dig my trucks style as much as i do. I love following all these clean builds on this forum, and plenty of good advice here also. You will be happy with nate's products and how fun it is to put it all together. Have a good one, Jesse |

Lovin' the plans you've got for it. I like the look of flat silver and the black should make it look mean

Torkerjr- Thanks Man!
Laynrockers- You are right with the Poterbuilt products. Great guys! Ive delt with so many venders all ready buying parts and the Poterbuilt guys are into it! Other vendors not so much, you can tell its just a job selling parts.... MBEXHAUST-Thanks! I stumbbled across you half build the other day. Looks like its gonna be bad ass. When you gonna throw a wrench back on it? Dino63-Yea I bought that from our local CAT dealer(my best customer) It worked out real well! Glad your stoked, So I'm I!!! Its kinda like getting a new girlfriend, cant wait to work on her and you spend a bunch of money on her! Have a great day guys and thanks for your intrest and replies! |

Re: 65 LB Full Poterbuilt
Ahhh yes the filling and marking of zip lock baggies !!!
I have many of those in assorted boxes all over the garage now, keeping close to the parts they go to!! Looks like you are off to a real kickin' start there! Good luck on the build and to the site !!!!

Thanks guys and Thanks to Kyle at Fred's Truck Parts, Great deals and AWESOME customer service. He found me high hump and had it shipped in, let's seee the big boys do that. It's in Delmo's hands now, I'll get it back as a rollin chassis.
