Re: Just Bought This!

Looks good to me! Not a show truck, but very nice clean driver. Its got alot of potential, a little lowering, nice set of rims and call it done. I think its a good deal.

Re: Just Bought This!

Not bad of a deal.. A lot of potential for sure.. Get a set of newer 99+ wheels and you should have a nice daily driver!

Cheers,
Charlie

Re: Just Bought This!

This is my 3rd C10. I have a 72 which will now become a doner truck.

Going to transfer over my POSI 5lug disks and other odds and ends to get this one where i want it.

Looks nice

I think I'd have to change out the sun visors and dash pad.

Re: Just Bought This!

Ah. The lug change. Well, if I already had the brake setup, I would swap too. I kept my truck 6 lug, but I still have rear drum brakes. What rims are on the donor?

Nice truck, seems like a decent deal to me.

And I was going to say, all you need is some dingle balls hanging from the headliner and Chong sitting in the passenger seat, and you would have the interior to the Cheechmobile.

Re: Just Bought This!

I thought 99 and up wheels take spacers or something to make them fitour old trucks? Please correct me if wrong.

Re: Just Bought This!

Bottom line is if you're happy with the truck, then it's a great deal. It certainly looks very solid and a great starting point to make it what you want it to be.

Re: Just Bought This!

I saw this at the bottom of the AD:

On Mar-23-10 at 03:35:42 PDT, seller added the following information:

Well once again the high bidder in my auction has (0) feedback, has met my reserve, won't return any of my emails and their phone is disconnected!

I'm flooded with emails and calls asking for the "buy it now" price. That price will be as close to the current bid it's at and the first one that puts money in my hand!!!!!! MAKE AN OFFER!

I have 65 people watching this truck in their Ebay. If any of you are really serious about owning this truck, call me A.S.A.P. MAKE AN OFFER, pay me now and the truck is yours. I'm tired of dealing with non payers on here. Only call If you have the money in your hand and really want to own the truck!!!

Would that be you, or where you the lucky one that got it after. Good looking truck, the interior is a little different to say the least, but its looking good.

Re: Just Bought This!

No I'm not the dude that bailed. I bought it! The owner had a CL add that i responded to. He pointed me to the ebay auction. After going back and forth with him, he agreed to 5900 and closed the auction.

Re: Just Bought This!

Well after putting in new heads, water pump, and a boat load of other misc parts, she lives!

Also got a new exhaust, battery, and dizzy.

I put 1700lbs of paper in the bed the other day and drove about 20 miles. Truck runs great!

Re: Just Bought This!

Looks like a good buy to me......

I just paid a little more for a 350 truck with almost zero rust and a better interior so I would say you did very well if the body panels are solid and the parts are all there

Nice score! I'd drop it a bit and ditch the diamond tuck dash pad but otherwise it's a sweet ride.
