Well it took some convincing but we finaly were accepted by Pilkington as a dealer. As many of you know and for those of you who don't, we feel that Pilkington has the highest quality windshields available. all other brands that we have inspected to include PPG (now PGW) are thinner and can be bubbled out too much. To celibrate we are running a sale on windshields. $89.95 for tinted windshields. I am sorry but we will not ship these, they are just too fragile. Please call us toll free 888-338-2502 in advance to be sure that we have some in stock. We are getting 3 in this afternoon and delivery on more seems like it will be quick. We are going to run this sale through the end of the month after witch the price will go to normal retail of $99.95 WES

In a few weaks we will also have instalation availible by appointment only. WES

Do you know the thickness? Seems like all the old stuff that used to be 5/16", has shrunk to 1/4".

This is why I wanted a pilkington dealership. Their windshields are thicker than everyone elses. I have three in stock right now and will measure them once I open up. WES

I do not know of any company that sell a totaly tinted windshield. Pilkington are tinted across the top like everyone else. I believe that clear is the only other option. We now have 4 windshields in stock, and probably 20 of each kind of gasket. WES

Pilkington is the only windshield glass I would use. My son installed one in mine and it is really beutiful. Jason has about 15 years experience in the automotive glass industry and knows old cars very well. He said use nothing but Pilkington for our trucks. FWIW

I'd buy one, but even though you're local, you're not local enough. If you're ever wandering up to the Seattle area and are willing to carry one with you, I'm in.

Sorry guys, Pilkington doesn't ship windshields. They have a driver with a rout that I am now a pert of. He brings windshields to my shop when I order them. WES

I once worked for a company that sold windshields. We tried to ship them Fed Ex, UPS, DHL, even SpeeDee Delivery. No matter what the supplier did, about 1 in 3 windshields ordered got broke. That's why you see so many glass delivery trucks out there, that way the seller can control the environment of the shipping process.
