steering andf brakes
I fianally shortened my 72 frame to put on short bed. then after I was done, it looked weird, did some measuring and it is bent in the front, all that work wasted! I have a 67 frame allcleabed no stering gear, my question - will the power steering unit off my 72 frame fit the 57 frame? anted to use disc brakes - but i gues I'll go with drum. will power brake unit work with the 67 brakes?

use the discs
Put the whole front suspension off your 72 on the 67 frame - crossmember, too. You can use the power steering unit, but you have to put a dimple in the frame (torch and hammer). See WES's wesite for pics on that.
Good luck, Scott

I'm afraid ythe front suspension is bent also, nust gonna put a stock 305 in it so I tink the drum brakes will suffice. Would like to make them power brakes though.
