91 crew electrical demon
Early this year (after years of searching) I picked up a 91 crew (5.7/4l80e/4.11) and have been tinkering with it and will be my year round daily driver. It has skyjacker 8", NWF crossover, 38.5 boggers.
Issue: during my 4 headlight swap I found a electrical short in the clearance light circuit. Even before I started to re-attaching wiring to the front when I turn the headlights on it pops the fuse on the clearance light circuit. On occasion it would turn the C. lights but dull, it was apparent that there is a dead short somewhere. I eliminated the rear taillight circuit to start tracking it down. Without the front or rear circuit connected, it still pops the fuse which suggests that it is under the dash wiring (dash lights) or possible the cab lights. Has anyone else experienced this issue? This is my 6th square, and none of the others gave this trouble. Any help is much appreciated :-) The Pumpkin

Re: 91 crew electrical demon
Try disconnecting the clearance lights
stock? they should unplug from the headlight switch you could remove the bulbs and meter ohms, looking for a short... the wires could catch a visor screw... look here
