looking to upgrade to power steering, had ?'s...

Friend purhased a 1977 c10, it does not have power steering.

Is there any kit to purchase that would take care of this?
What all does the swap entail?

They are trying to make it more daily driver friendly.
I've never upgraded one of these to power from manual non power.
Any input is appreciated.

She also mentioned the clutch pedal is super stiff, difficult to engage.
Anything that can be done to make it easier to press in or is that something that just is the way it is?

I haven't had a chance to test drive it myself, to know if its normal and it may just seem really difficult to her since her other manual is a honda civic

That's what happens when a girl buys a mans truck.

Steering box, pump, pulley, brackets, and lines.

Found a kit from Brothers that includes the following:
Power steering gearbox
Power steering pump
Power steering hose
Power steering pump bracket
Pitman arm
Rag joint
Power steering fluid

Is existing steering column useable with these conversion parts?

Ah damn, wonder if they offer one for this year truck??
Or one of the parts companies. Would prefer a kit over piecing it together

Is it a small block? If so you can go to a wrecking yard and get stuff or buy it all new off Jegs or Summit your auto parts store should carry the pump and lines and steering box and joint as for the brackets you will have to match that up to what the motor has for pulleys and if it has Air.
