I can't see out the window. I think someone hung a white sheet over the outside of the window??? What's up with that?

Very light snow and windy is all we got. I can still see some grass showing in the yard.

Re: Boy did it snow!

Got a lot of snow here in the Omaha, NE area yesterday. Funniest thing is that my daily driver is a Toyota Tacoma Pre-Runner (Looks and sits just like a 4X4 but isn't one). I'm trying to get around and almost getting stuck here and there, and the funniest look is on people faces like they are thinking "Put that thing in 4X you idiot!"

Re: Boy did it snow!

We didn't get quite that much snow, but the wind is horrendous. 40+ MPH, and that's the gusts.

Re: Boy did it snow!

What a difference about 250 - 300 miles South makes.

Cold & windy here. 55 degrees yesterday, & about 35 now, with 35 mph wind. But sun is shining bright & NO SNOW.

I hate snow.

Be safe & stay warm.

Re: Boy did it snow!

The snow finally moved out of here yesterday afternoon, we only ended up with about 6'' but it's been cold here for a few days. It was -20 this morning.

How's the Cheyenne holding up with the snow and cold temps Chris?

Do they salt the roads out that way?

They don't use salt here, mag-chloride and sand. If they did I'd definitely have a winter beater!

I actually haven't had to drive my truck all week. My wife took her mom to the airport Sunday in her mom's car and has just been driving that all week, so I decided to drive the wife's car and leave my truck in the garage. It ended up getting a vacation at the right time!
However in years past it has done just fine in the extreme cold.

I feel bad for you giys up in the U.P.I love snow, but you guys get alot more than I like.I go skiing up there every year at White Cap,and last year I was outside having a smoke,I took one step off the cabin's porch and I was up to my armpits in snow. One year we were up there and got 21'' of snow in one night
