Project "Lucy"

Here's the start of my filler project before I can do my 68.. This is Lucy my wife named her. You may have seen a few post in my old build thread about her. She's a 72 Cheyenne that was already a clean truck with original rockers and cab corners.. It'll have all the paint fixed and detailed very well from the chassis up.. It will be a build as I go with no real direction in mind.. This is how she started when I got her..

No real direction in mind? Well, we're here to help. PB Touring, perhaps? Toss in an ACCUAIR set-up. Big block with EFI. Those wheels are so "been there, done that". You should probably sell those to me and get Lucy her own exclusive set up.

Subbed.

Re: Project "Lucy"

screaminchevy,
I'm restoring a 72 SWB right now and am getting ready to do the suspension. I was curious after reading some of your responses to other members about not going to some of those retailers but coming to you, if there's anyway you too could possibly help an old sole like myself? If not, no worries, but the answers always no unless ya ask....

Specifically, I'm looking at Ride Techs tubular a-arms & coil overs in the mid level kit. I think it runs for around $4650.00 plus the sway bar + rear comes out to close to $6500.
Any help with advice and experience using or knowing others whom have bought these suspecion kits is extremely helpful. I'm really not sure which one to go with either.

Thank you for reading!

Best regards,

Shawn

Screamin,
I'd love to order some parts from Billet and a few other vendors most related To the list you mentioned your wholesale distributor for....
Suspension kits are the top of my build priority.

Do you think you could help me out not only w an opinion on suspension kits?
I've been leaning towards Ride Tech mid level coil over front and back kit..

However, the costs are the only thing from keeping me from pulling such a quick trigger. Any help would be grately appreciated!

I know you don't know me from "Adam" and I probably wouldn't be so quick to help just anyone but the one thing I can tell ya, is I'm more than a C10 freak and 60's Ford Bronco's. And that's who ur truly helping. Plus, if there's anyway I could repay the favor I'm happy to... As u know, these hobbies can be expensive and it's always great to know people in the right places.

Thanks for taking the time to read & your consideration!

Shawn
