back in the day the lisence plate was about the most commonly used material to patch old rusted out floors and trunks for cars from the 40's and 50's//stopsigns were a close second tho

The funny part is that floor probably cost more than a complete weld in replacement, unless he already had the plate collection lol. People pay big bucks for classic plates out here in Cali and make em wall hangers.

He's got his engine sizes wrong. It's a 250. The fuel pump is in front of the motor mount. I kinda like the rat rod theme. It's different. I'd roll it. Maybe...

The sad thing is that I have used license plates to patch holes before in one of our yard truck!
