what is this (sorry no pic) vac dev @ thermostat
I have some type of vac. device just in front of my thermostat housing. Nothing is hooked up to it, and it appears to be disintegrated for the most part. I found it when I took off my long broken smog pump.
Nothing was hooked up to it. I used to remember the function of this but I have no idea. Also, does anyone know if its a good idea to remove the air injection lines and just plug them off? Can this be accomplished with pipe plugs, and if so what size do I need. I would like to get my vac leaks all fixed up.. Thanks in advance..

Vacumn switch-discard and plug hole if you like. Air injector lines are an odd size. Just gut line above fitting long enough to bend over and crimp.

Thanks, heading down to get a plug for that now.
Wouldn't happen to know what size that would be?
