16” electric fan suggestion

1970 c10 350/350auto.
Last summer engine got really hot during a parade ad sometime when in traffic and not moving much. Got stock gauges so don’t know actual temps yet but definite hotter than it should be.
Decided to keep the mechanical fan and add a pusher fan on the outside of the radiator
Bought a 16” SPAL ($151) straight blade fan
Wired in stat relay.
Works but man is this thing loud. I’m reading now the curved blades are quieter
Looking for a recommendation from forum who has something that works well and not too loud.

I have a 16" Spal curved blade fan. It makes some noise but more or less like a late model car fan noise.

Personally, I think the aftermarket fans are all overpriced and not as reliable as a good used GM fan.
When I installed the AC with a parallel flow condenser about 15 years ago I used two junkyard fans. The '89 and '94 Cadillac fans have identical fan blades and motors, but the cages are very different. The '94 has considerably more webbing which serves great for protecting my fingers when reaching for the hood release.
Each fan draws 9 Amps running and about 14 Amps at startup. The driver side runs at all times when the AC is ON. The Pass side is connected to a 208* sensor in the thermostat housing, but never runs. The original 4-blade 6-cyl fan is still being used.

These fans are quiet, cheap and I expect them to last forever. If one of the motors should fail, they appear to be identical to most all the '80s and '90s GM fan motors I have looked at.
