Yep saw 2 in a 65 short fleet in Pigeon Forge last weekend. That was the first time I saw them in a short bed truck. I've always seen them in longbeds or longhorns before.

what someones willing to pay..........I know "smart ass" reply but it's a fact

IMO there not rare and not a "must have". There not tow hooks. Also it's not a factory option if I'm correct, so value won't be high. I've seen them in junkyards before. Sorry I can't give you a number like you want

They were part of the dealer installed options and are still available in very limited quantities, (meaning I know of a few) and they are priced at $80.00 each NOS.

If above price is correct, and he usually is, I go a max of $41.65, or with
shipping for the non geeking math types, a grand total of $50.00, cya

I would not want them on "my" truck. Handy or not. Only if the truck I was driving was a truck I used for my busniness that I needed to get in and out of everday. But not on my personal truck. Never seen these before today. Looks like something you would find on a big rig.

I would say`bout 20 bucks.That`s what they cost new.Depends on condition & demand.Although cool,not high in demand.I like authentic"period-correct"accesories,many don`t.Thet`ll work on any truck.Great for getting into saddle box.

Bummer he doesn't have the template too. That would bump the value up quite a bit IMO.
