Chassis black replacement
Does anyone know of a paint that will look like eastwoods chassis black and underhood black. I would like to detail my frame, suspension and under hood but can not stand to buy cans of paint for 15 bucks each!!

Re: Chassis black replacement
What can be used for the under hood? Or is the krylon 1613 the same gloss level.

Re: Chassis black replacement
I use the Krylon also but they recently changed what they call it. They call it satin now. For brackets & pulleys I use Ace hardware premium paint. They have a semi gloss that has some gloss to it. It is in a black can. Goes on real smooth & lvel & dries fast. Rustoleum is good but it takes forever to dry & remains stickey for a long time.
