Repro body side moldings
Hey guys!
I was wondering how do these reproduction 73-80 body side moldings compare to the originals ? From what I can see from pictures via internet, they do look pretty nice, are they all the same between different vendors-LMC, Classic Industries etc. ? I need to replace both upper door moldings, but IŽm thinking the new ones would pop out like a sore thumb, so might as well replace all at once. My truck is -79 Silverado. Any thoughts? Antti

Re: Repro body side moldings
I used repop a few years back on mine. It's not the greatest compared to stock. But, it works.
As far as manufacturers what I learned at that time it was all made by a company called Corvex if I remember right. They were the only one at that time Your wise to get it all at once if your doing the whole rig. I did it in steps and ended up paying more for shipping that way. Good luck on the 79

Re: Repro body side moldings
Thanks so much Boatpuller!
IŽll probably try to polish up the originals, since they are little hazy and replace only the upper door moldings first, or IŽll try to find decent originals somewhere, weŽll see. Sweet looking C 10 you have by the way ! Antti
