No, unless you have reversed the tailgate handle to open from the inside of the tailgate. The Blazer tailgate trim does not have the cut out to accomodate the tailgate handle.

Yes it will work after drilling some mounting holes & a flip kit for the handle. They have 2 different styles 73-80 & 81-87. I've got the later style but I'm looking for the earlier & haven't come across one yet.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.

If it turns out you don't want that panel, buy it anyhow and I'll buy it from you!

I've been looking for a clean blzer tailgate panel for a while.

I had a very good parts guy search for one & got lucky... he found the last one around N.Tx. area @ Showcase Chevrolet, which isn't too far from me.

If I can find the earlier style I will sell this 81-87 panel for what it cost me (but I haven't had much luck yet).

Thats funny, I just sold two 81-87 used ones via the parts board and still have the used 73 to 80 one on my truck. I eventually want to get a pristine one to go with my 85 tailgate. The two I sold did not meet my pristine & perfect criteria, but were excellent.

Did the ones you sold have holes or not? If you come across one w/o holes for the 73-80 vintage I would swap.

The ones I had or have holes to accomodate the GMC or Chevy lettering. I believe any aftermarket or GM replacment will not have any holes. The one for 73-80 will be rare as a NOS part, most probably obsolete. LMC or ChevyDuty only carry only imported ones.

That's why I bought the one for the 81-87's. I figure it gives me something to use or barter with down the road if I can't find the correct one for a 74.
