Non a.c. heater problems
Hi everyone. I've got a 68 c10 and I'm having problems with my heater. The end of last summer the heater quit working. Didn't bother fixing, because winter is over so why bother. I get under it today and find out the whole thing has somehow come completely unhooked, and I don't know how everything goes, can anyone help me out? Thanks!

What does "completely unhooked" mean? Can you upload a pic or two.

Re: Non a.c. heater problems
Sorry forgot to add them. The connector in the photo goes to my heater fan but doesn't seem to line up with the connector on the heater controls. There is also a 3 pin connector above the heater ducting that i can't get a good photo of that is unhooked.

That connector doesn't look familiar to me. Are you sure your wire loom isn't for an A/C truck? Looks like the connector may have been changed. How many wires go to it? Here is a good thread on heater wiring. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=662676 LockDoc

Oops. I looked closer at the pic. Strange. Previous poster sounds possible. Ac/heater truck control plug with heater only controller Posted via Mobile Device |
