1967 stepside
going to look at a 1967 longbed stepside today, the guy said it was in very good shape with a v8 and 4 speed trans, he wants 1200.00 he said that there was no rust and the interior was in very good shape, just wanted to see other pictures of a 1967 stepside longbed that others have fixed up to help make up my mind if i wanted another project, thanks for the help.

Re: 1967 stepside
No rust? Look over it VERY carefully. If it truely does not have rust then $1200 would be a great steal.
Even if it has some rust 1200 may not be a bad price. Although some people don't like the longbed stepsides, I think they are kind of unique.

Re: 1967 stepside
The first picture is of my '71 farm truck with a '67 long stepper bed that came off the truck in the second picture.
I am sure some other board members will post some pictures of their trucks. Danny

Re: 1967 stepside
long stepside trucks are an odd breed... and not liked by many. don't let that stop you... if YOU like it, then jump at it. They are getting harder and harder to locate.
If you do get it and decide the bed just looks too goofy for you, a fleet side bed bolts right on and you can be as normal as everyone else. |

Re: 1967 stepside
Go for what others overlook. Then, you`ll have the one they all want.I sold new take off running boards to a guy that has $80,000 into his long step resto-rod.He`s not worried about what others like.
Here`s one I`d like to have:
