The Big Boys:Let's See Those K/20s & K2500s

The 3/4 ton 4wds were the top of the food chain IMO and have been the constant mainstay of my 67-72 interest. High option/low option, just the model configuration screams no BS truck. A highly optioned one sits right next to a big block shortbed in my book*. Don't forget the Suburbans, either. Talk about a wagon on steroids! Show 'em if ya got 'em,had 'em,or saw one.

I'll kick it off with a few notmyuns:

*I like 'em all.

I have to agree. I love seeing pretty trucks, but love even more to see one you can use. I think it's very handsome as is.

Re: The Big Boys:Let's See Those K/20s & K2500s

Here is mine. When I bought it from the original owner it looked like this.

This is how it looks now except that I have had the mirror arms powder coated argent silver and I painted the rear bumper argent silver. I also took out the green shag carpet and layed down a couple of coats of Lizard Skin and then put in the factory rubber mat. This isnt a beauty queen, its a truck used as a truck. (course I wouldnt mind having a new paint job someday lol)

You have my favorite 67-72 EVER. I'd get rid of my ride in a heartbeat to have one like yours. I'd pay a lot extra, too

Re: The Big Boys:Let's See Those K/20s & K2500s

No factory big blocks in any 4X4's in the 67-72 models years. But plenty of people have made the switch themselves

Those were new "Take Offs" from a 2005 Silverado HD. GM used them for a long time though. I know that some of the 2008s still had them. WES
