Those look sweet. I bet they would. They would probably give you better clearance if your truck is lowered.

If they are the mid-length chevelle headers, just do a search on here for them. There should be 5-6 threads discussing the fit and where they can be purchased. ljbear has them on his and he sent me Summit Racing's part # for the Dynomax ceramic coated ones. wlk-86118 Later, ......Jerry

There is a new set of chevelle 3/4 lenght headers on the market with both a ball flange and a bolt flange all in one for a leak free seal. Think the are Hooker or Headman.

ball flanged? Sounds like I should know what that is, but I am drawing a blank. Have you got a pic or a part #?

These are not the actual headers, but this is the ball flange.

These are the headers except they have the ball flange, which isn't supposed to leak.

Have you got a part # for the ball flanged ones? So the ball flange goes down into the collector a couple inches to stop leaks?

Flowmaster has a conversion. Summit sells it PN FLO15925 3" collector to 2 1/2 pipe. Looks like you cut off collector flange and weld on new Ball flange kit. A little pricey at $45.95 but if you have leaks all the time it might be worth the bucks.

Well I think my friend told me that the header from a 1st gen camaro will work on 67-72 trucks but I do know that Early Classic is making headers that are mid lenght now.

You can also buy composite material donut gaskets for about $5 pair at the parts store for collectors. My buddy recently did this on my dads new exhaust. No leaks!
