The date tag is 1973, I think the A is for January.
The instructions sheet is dated 9-8-72 for the start of the new model year

Re: NOS Shoulder Harness

Were the later model shoulder harness boots made with the indentation horizontal? All the others I have seen have the indentation on the boots vertically.

Can anyone use this NOS set at a new lower price Shipped, $355
Dye the boots to match your interior, or change your interior to match this rare NOS Shoulder Harness option

Re: NOS Shoulder Harness

from what i read on some seat belt website the first two digits are the week, 32. the 3rd digit, a letter, is the plant they were made. and the last two digits are the year, 73. maybe you should put them on the 73-87 classified thread?

I love the 67-72 trucks, I thought that someone may be able to do something with them in our vintage trucks.
Just so you dudes know.
The factory original 3 & 4 panel belt webbing is avalible in all colors and also, new date tags with the date code of your choice.
The buckles can be dyed.
But what is not avalible is the boot with the little dimple,
this one can also be dyed.

John H. Is this kind of what you are talking about?

Re: NOS Shoulder Harness

Those are 67 Fawn shoulder harness seat belts. Very close to what Jon is looking for but they are a little light. WES

I'm using the Saddle Brown or Fawn set for my truck, only the NOS Gray set is for sale.
Can you use the NOS set?

Re: NOS Shoulder Harness

Only rare-er option I have seen is the shoulder belts for the REAR SEAT of a BLAZER. The blazer was scrapped before I was able to get back to get the belts--that was like 10years ago. I also pulled a factory roll bar that mounted in the REAR of a 73-4 Blazer--kind of in reverse of normal installation---.

Re: NOS Shoulder Harness

I was curious to see the orientation of the indentation of my shoulder belts. They look the same as the grey ones (see pic below). I use my shoulder belts and feel more safe on the highway. The only drawback is the fixed belt length. You cannot lean forward or reach out in a drive through with the shoulder belt snug.
