A Suburban Joins The Herd
I know its nuts, but i had the room for one more1966 gmc it has a clean tub(body) it was a complete truck, tony on the board found it on craig list in phoenix, pm me and i contacted him.turns out i knew the dude(small world of c10s) He got sick a while back and was in the hospital and a buddy of his blew his truck apart for him and was going to body drop it,well...some buddy, what a f----n mess ,the dude never cut the body and left in a ton of pieces, so i bought it on friday and what a pain in the butt to move. The body was off the frame and flat on the ground, all the parts were everywhere. and if that wasn't bad enough ( it rained most of the day) the body was way back on other side of the dudes house behind like two other torn apart trucks and his back yard full of dog turds. I started off by taking a long bed truck that already had the cab off, pulled the bed off and making it roll. I trailered it over and for you guys that have ever taken or pull a sub/panel body off with limted space and tools... oh boy thats a party, pushed it through the doggie mine field with no steering. Well, anyway it's home now and soon to have a dropmember installed. I will have it on wheels soon!! On this truck i think i am going to switch it up and go to gm arms 15" amercan racing, or maybe some 20" coys, but i don't want to cut up all the floors and tubs,it will sit very low (of course) .I am also going with the cpp rear kit, and bags,
