Anybody going to the Austin swapmeet this Sunday 4/10?
I'll be there. Bringing lots of 67-72 parts...mostly small parts, but also '72 GMC grille, upper grille bar, trim etc.
It's Sunday only. 9-5pm. $10 a space to sell. Free to buyers. Here's a Facebook link: http://www.facebook.com/AustinSwapMeet

That is literally right behind a rental we own. I used to run my dogs on the tract of land between the VFW and Yager just north of there. Lots of hobos up in those woods. A couple of permanent camps even.

I may try to make it by. I don't need anything specific, but these trucks can always use something.

Re: Anybody going to the Austin swapmeet this Sunday 4/10?
Anyone know if there will be a good 67-68 core support there for less than 175? I have a line on a original in SA but would prefer to not make the drive if possible.

I just sold a real nice one for $75, LOL.
A guy came over to buy the fenders off my '67 and wound up buying a lot more of it.

Re: Anybody going to the Austin swapmeet this Sunday 4/10?
Damn! I have one but the driver side has a bend in it, that is just enough to make me not want to use it. Tried fixing it but the origin of the bend is behind a support so I couldn't figure out a way to fix it without messing the rest of the support up.

Re: Anybody going to the Austin swapmeet this Sunday 4/10?
I've got some NOS trim I'll probably bring out, too.
Also, some old hotrod parts, intakes, valvecovers and such...all big block. Casey

Re: Anybody going to the Austin swapmeet this Sunday 4/10?
Got a needed trim piece from Superchevy and found a front bumper guard which looks better than one of the ones currently on the truck. Good to meet by Jobe72 and Superchevy!
