what are you trying to do i used there front cross member drop with 2 1\2 in drop spindles and air bags at stock locations with 20s and that makes a pretty good drop of 5 ins with no suspension interference.

Trying to build in stages(budget) while keepin it rollin. I have 3 inch drop springs on drums(not changin to spindles soon). I have a suspension rebuild kit and figured an extra 2 inches in drop would be nice.

I dont think I would add a dropped arm with a 3 " drop spring, as your tierods will already be angled upward from straight. The dropped arm will compound the problem,& cause "bump steer". You could probably live with a 2 or 2 1/2" spindle & your spring, but to keep front geometry in check a 2" spring with a 2 1/2" spindle would be a better deal. Good luck....crazyL

I already have the springs so I'll deal with that. When I called, they said that their arms keep all the geometry the same, so I had assumed that Id have the same bumpsteer with the arms as without. Am I wrong to think that?

The lower droppped arms are also shortened to let you set caster/camber angles without a bunch of spacer behind the top a arm shaft......but the more the mountnng point for the outer tie rod moves up(dropped spring, dropped arms, or notched crossmember), the more chance the toe settting will change going across bumps(bump steer). I tend to be a little conservative on suspension drops, & did a cut coil & a rear flip on mine.......then opted to drop the body 1 1/2", as it doesnt affect the suspension at all......& nothing makes sparks on the road! some of the guys have no doubt crowded the susp drops harder, & can probably give a little more input on the slammed stuff. Good luck......crazyL

Thanks for the help. I think I'll just be running a 3 inch drop till I get bags and spindles.I hate this whole priority and obligation crap.
